I read somewhere that the crew had reported smoke or fumes. That can happen when there is severe engine damage. If so, crew may have started the “Smoke, Fire or Fumes” emergency checklist. The first switch to be turned off is the BUS TRANSFER switch to OFF. Notice how much that switch looks like the STANDBY POWER switch and how close it is? I have seen this mistake made on demo flights and in the simulator numerous times. Will be interesting to learn if one of these switches were in the off position as a result of the investigation.
